The Native Spirit Art Collective!

The Native Spirit Art Collective provides Artist with opportunities to exhibit and market their work, whilst supporting and promoting the Native Spirit Foundation.

The Native Spirit Foundation is a charitable organisations that works with indigenous communities throughout the Americas & worldwide, providing support & grants for Education projects & Indigenous schools. The Native Spirit Foundation also works to promote indigenous cultures by organising projects & hosting events such as the annual Native Spirit Festival which introduces European audiences to the riches of Amerindian traditions, cultures & artistic expressions, as well as highlighting some of the human rights & environmental issues that are being faced by indigenous communities throughout the world, today. Works of art exhibited as part of the Native Spirit Art Collective are produced by various indigenous & other artists, & sold in support of the Native Spirit Foundation, with a minimum of 10% of profits funding the charities work, although many of the artist contribute a substantially higher percentage.

Using a wide range of mediums our artists create unique designs inspired by their own indigenous cultures and the cultures of others, as well as maintaining the ethos of respect for Mother Earth. Freddy Treuquil works include sculptures, engravings and mosaics. Paz Treuquil spiritual designs manifest in oil paintings on canvas. Relmu's oil paintings provide recreations of traditional scenes and indigenous activities. Embroideries and Cross stitch of original design are the work of Jemmais Keval. Photographs are provided by Diego Feunmayor of his indigenous Wayuu Community, and we also have a selection of textiles hand-woven by the indigenous women of the Wayuu and Mayan communities of Venezuela and Guatemala. As well as some other merchandise such a T-Shirts.
